Aviation safety is a continuing challenge for pilots at every level. Even after we have overcome the silly "inner child" aviation errors we remain vulnerable as pilots to failures of judgment. Thorough risk management requires training and a flexible, continuous system of analysis and action. Even conscientious pilots still have human limitations of bias, limited awareness and normalizing deviance. Additionally, making decisions and functioning under the stress of an emergency is a trained skill that can be learned and improved. Join this seminar to learn risk awareness, assessment and mitigation and develop the resilience to function effectively during emergencies.
David St George has been a pilot since 1972 and a DPE for many years. He was one of the first Master Instructors, and is currently the Executive Director of SAFE - the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators.
