One of the most significant enhancements to pilot situational awareness in the last hundred years has been the advent of data link weather capability in flight. This information, while extremely valuable, has some constraints that it's important that we're aware of prior to, and during its use.

Captain Chris Skytte will describe this data, the limitations inherent to it, how and when to use it, and perhaps most important, when not to use it!

Captain Skytte is a Boeing 737 Captain for a major airline, and teaches ground school courses at Orange Coast College and Whattsamatta U in Frostbite Falls, MN.

The FAPA Grill Team will be providing a bratwurst or hot dog dinner before the presentation. Come early (starting at 6PM) to enjoy some social time before we get going!
