Long Beach Airport Pilot/Controller Forum
Each airport in the NAS conducts a Runway Safety Assessment Team meeting every year. This year, I have been asked to help host a Pilot/Controller Forum as a prelude event to this year's Long Beach Airport RSAT meeting.
This event will be open to all pilots who operate on and near Long Beach Airport, and will feature a team of panelists from several airport stakeholders, including the FAA Western Pacific Region Runway Safety Team leadership, LGB Airport Air Traffic Controllers, LGB Airport Management and Ground Crew, and more.
Since this meeting conflicts with the normal Third Tuesday FAPA Meeting, we decided to include all FAPA members to this online only meeting. There will not be an in-person meeting at the airport this month.

After you register, you will receive an email with your personal link to attend on Tuesday night. Please do not share this link with others, as we won't be able to validate Wings credit for attendance.
After a series of short presentations by the panelists, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to share your experiences while operating at the Long Beach Airport, ask any questions - and hopefully get some answers! - of the major players concerned with safe and efficient operations at the airport.
Again, DO NOT COME to Fullerton Airport on Tuesday evening. There will not be any bratwurst available, nor our usual in-person camaraderie and witty banter. You'll have to save that for next month!
